"When I was an undergraduate student, I was lucky enough to intern with the Georgia House of Representatives. This was one of the most formative experiences of my life - not just as a student, but as a citizen. Although it was a great privilege to participate in the legislative process, it was shocking to see how ignorant and out of touch the Georgia Republican Party truly is. The GOP legislators are shameless in their ignorance of basic scientific principles, blatant in their disregard of separation of church and state, and willfully detached from the needs of diverse communities in the state. Georgia needs groups like The 2030 Project to take back our power, and to show all citizens in Georgia that we deserve better!" - Anonymous
